Stump grinding in Holland, MA

Holland borders Brimfield to the south, so I'm never far away.

Lake lots and tight access

A lot of Holland's homes sit around Hamilton Reservoir and Holland Pond. Many started as summer camps on small lots, with houses close together, slopes down to the water and not much room to maneuver. That's where a compact grinder earns its keep. My Vermeer SC362 fits through a 36-inch gate or opening, so I can usually reach stumps that bigger machines can't.

Clearing for a view, a dock path or a new build

The jobs I expect most in Holland:

  • Stumps left after taking down pines to open up a water view
  • Clearing a path down to the dock or beach
  • Grinding stumps on a lot before a camp is rebuilt or expanded
  • Older wooded lots with oak and pine stumps in the way of the lawn

Careful near the water and the house

On small lots, everything is close: the house, the neighbors, the shoreline. I run a chip curtain to keep debris where it belongs, call Dig Safe before I grind, and rake and blow everything clean when I'm done.

Not home? No problem

If it's a seasonal place, you don't need to be there. Send photos and the address, make sure I can reach the stumps, and I'll send you a firm price, usually the same day.
